Hachinohe City Museum of Art

The goal of the Hachinohe City Museum of Art is to be a community-oriented museum where works by past and present local artists, as well as many traditional regional arts and crafts, are collected and exhibited. The Museum is visited by many locals and holds numerous special exhibitions, planned exhibitions and workshops.
It has also started the “Hachinohe - City of Photos” program to revitalize the region by encouraging local residents to use photography as a tool to see the city’s charms in a new light and share them with visitors.
